Mother’s Day is this Sunday – do you have the perfect gift for Mom yet?
If not, relax! I have beautiful gift items you can personalize to create a special and memorable Mother’s Day gift for your Mom!
Your Mom will love keeping her most precious jewelry in a silver-plated jewelry box. Choose the one that matches her style – oval jewelry box, heart jewelry box or square jewelry box. Each is engraved on the lid to make it custom. (I’ll bet your grandma would love one, too!)
Tell Mom how much you love her and do it in a stylish way by giving her this engraved silver heart charm bracelet. Order one for yourself so you’ll have a matching pair to remind each other of your special mother-daughter relationship.
Does your Mom love to entertain? Get her a set of adorable canning jar glasses engraved with an initial. She can use them for dining outdoors, for drinking lemonade this summer or for filling with flowers as cute vases!
If you already have your Mom’s Mother’s Day gift, remember that these gift items are also lovely to give to your Mom, your fiance’s mother and to grandmothers and special friends on your wedding day!
Enjoy telling Mom how much you love her!
P.S. – Get 25% off your entire order (including gifts!) on our website this week with promo code 14ORDER25
Looking for unique party favors that won’t get left? The key is to give guests fun, personalized items they’ll love using long after your celebration.
Here’s an idea for you – personalize my Custom Cups with a design, your message and event date, and then fill the cups with treats that coordinate with your party theme. Guests will enjoy the treats during the party and will take the cups home to use long after the celebration for fun memories.
The custom cups can be personalized for ANY event you can dream up – weddings, holidays, family reunions, graduations. Here are some ideas to get you started:
Guests will have fond memories or your holiday party when you give them personalized custom cups to take home and use all year through.
Enjoy the party favor inspiration!
Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m spending today surrounded by hearts, roses and all things red and romantic…just take a look:
If you’re planning a wedding on February 14, 2014, start making those plans final now, because it’s a Friday and I’m sure lots of brides will be clamoring for that date. But I also love the roses, red and heart look for romantic weddings anytime of year.
Once you have your wedding date set, be sure to announce it in a way that lets guests get a glimpse of your romantic wedding style. Send my Love is in the Air Save the Date to get guests ready for romance. Or go with my red gingham bordered Love Gingham Save the Date in Cherry to set a fun and rustic tone…then follow up with the coordinating Love Gingham Wedding Invitation in Cherry to carry your theme through! Are red roses your favorite? Sending my Rosy Watercolors Wedding Invitation in Cherry will make guests feel like they’ve just received a delivery of flowers!
Now, let’s talk décor. I had so much fun adding touches of red and hearts to the burlap background of the inspiration photo – why not start with a neutral color or fabric and build on that to create your romantic wedding look? Then the red roses, red hearts, red accents (like table linens, personalized napkins, favor boxes (and other details) will really “pop.”
And if you’re feeling creative, make a banner like I did for the photo! It was so easy and I think it would add a charming, handmade touch to your guest book table, wall décor and more! Just fold thick red paper and cut out a heart shape, punch with two holes and thread on lengths of twine, ribbon or cord. Vary the size (and even the color) of the hearts to create a unique wedding banner!
Enjoy the romantic wedding inspiration – and enjoy Valentine’s Day!
My team and I wish you all the best for 2013 and all the stylish, creative celebrations it holds for you!
P.S. Love the look of my Christmas message? It’s our Dotted Merry Holiday Invitation! You can personalize it to send New Year greetings or for colorful party invitations anytime of year.
We all have our little secrets that help us throw great parties. Maybe it’s your flair with floral arrangements, your talent with table settings, or your “in” with the baker down the street whose delicious desserts you dress up with a few sparkles and serve with style.
Well, here’s a little secret of mine that I’ve been serving at parties this holiday season. It’s a recipe that’s easy, tasty, and a big hit with my guests.
Spinach Ball Appetizers
• 2, 10-oz. packages of frozen chopped spinach
• 2 cups herbed bread cube dressing
• 6 eggs (slightly beaten)
• 3/4 cup softened butter
• chopped onion
• 1/4 tsp. thyme
• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• Roll into walnut-sized balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-13 minutes. Let cool.
• Serve on platters.
Do you have a favorite holiday recipe or entertaining secret you’d like to share? I’d love to hear about it!
Enjoy entertaining this year!
December is coming to a close and I’m busy planning how I’ll be ringing in 2013 with my friends and family. While I was playing with holiday party invitation styles and colors and accessories, I came up with this idea and thought I would share it with you.
I thought I would send out my Let It Snow Holiday Invitation – don’t you just love the unique pink and grey colors of the modern tree and snowflake design?
And once guests arrive at the party, I’ll give them their favor candies in personalized custom cups in fuchsia and silver. I think the fun tree design on the personalized cups will be a great reminder of the design on the invitation. And the cups will be a fun memento of the party.
Then I’ll set the table with silver chargers, mercury glass candles and pink metallic ornaments. For the finishing touch, I’ll add in my personalized Holiday Cheer Ooh La Color Napkins to the place settings. The pink and grey design is a perfect match to the invitation and my party’s color scheme!
What are your New Year’s Eve party plans? I’d love to hear all about how you’re making them unique and stylish! To help you finalize your plans, check out all of our holiday party invitations and accessories!
Enjoy the celebrating!

Invite guests to celebrate the new year and toss the confetti! And while you’re at it, this is a great time to celebrate a new engagement, too!
No party will be more festive than the anticipation that comes with midnight at New Year’s Eve, along with the happiness that comes with celebrating a new engagement. It’s a party that will be TWICE as nice!
For starters, we’ve got a great party invitation that will be able to do double duty to invite guests to the party and announce that it is an engagement party. Our Confetti Toss holiday invitation is the perfect combination of colorful and fun.
Then at the party, be sure to have matching Ooh La Color™ Confetti Toss napkins to keep the theme going. And for that all-important champagne toast, try our Bling Stem toasting flutes with sparkling silver bases and glitzy crystals in the stems.
Consider giving guests a cute calendar card as a party favor that they can use during the new year, like the Rainbow Stripes calendar photo card. Add your photo to the card and a heart-felt greeting or “Thanks for coming to our party!” for the finishing touch.
With these party ideas and your great menu of delicious foods and desserts, your party will be the hit of the new year!
