Love lace? Then you’ll really love my new lace wedding invitations!
If there’s one day of your life that can be filled with romance, it’s your wedding day. And there’s no more romantic look than the lace wedding trend!
Whether you add a little or a lot of lace to your wedding, you’re sure to create a look that’s sentimental and elegant. Lace is also a great way to add a little softness to a modern wedding. For instance, if you have a sleek, modern satin wedding gown, wear your grandmother’s lace veil and you’ll combine two eras beautifully. If an heirloom lace tablecloth or curtain is in tatters, make lace roses out of the fabric and add them to your wedding bouquet.
If you’re more of an all-out lace person, think about these ideas:
• Sheer lace draped over colorful tablecloths for softness
• Lace ribbon tied around favors
• Bouquet handles wrapped in lace
• Lace chair back covers
• Lace bands around your napkins
• Lace covering canning jars as candleholders
• Lace streamers and banners to add a DIY touch
• Paper lace doilies folded into favor cones
And to start your lace wedding off right, choose my lace bridal shower invitations, lace save the dates and lace wedding invitations!
Antique Lace Bridal Shower Invitation – what could set a more romantic tone?
Vintage Lace Photo Save the Date – you’ll ask guests to mark their calendars for a day of romance!
Homespun Lace Wedding Invitation – it’s a look that’s a little bit rustic and a whole lot romantic!
Sophisticated Lace Wedding Invitation – black and white wedding invitations have just gotten more sophisticated!
Lace Heart Wedding Invitation – show that you love each other AND that you absolutely love lace!
Lacy Edge Photo Thank You Card – it’s the perfect way to follow up your lace wedding!
Enjoy the lacy inspiration!

Ask Jean: What are the latest wedding trends?
Q: What are the latest wedding trends you’ve been seeing?
A: Funny you should ask – I’ve been busy going through The 2013 Ultimate Wedding Contest entries and am so excited to read about brides’ wedding plans! Real brides are the real trend-setters, and I’d love to share the most popular themes and wedding styles our contest entrants are dreaming up.
• Vintage is still a popular trend, but brides are getting more specific about the era now. For instance, Art Deco wedding themes are trending with sleek designs, bold patterns and black-and-white color schemes.
• I love all the references to “sparkle” I’m seeing in brides’ entries! They’re using crystals, rhinestones, mercury glass and metallic silver and gold to create dazzling weddings.
• Seasonal weddings – especially autumn – are very popular. Fun twists include Halloween-themed parties and activities of the season like a sunset hayride and a big bonfire after the dance.
• Rustic weddings are all the rage with brides! Brides are getting creative with juxtaposing elements to create texture and a unique look for their weddings, like decorating the old barn where their wedding will be held with crystal chandeliers and china place settings.
• Canning jars continue to charm! They’re used in country-themed weddings along with rustic flowers like sunflowers and wildflowers, cotton dresses and lemonade bars.
• Creativity is big – brides are adding all sorts of crafty, personal touches to their weddings in ways that are important to them, like photo displays, personalized wedding programs and place cards, and handmade gifts.
• Mixing themes within a wedding is a trend I’m loving – think country ceremony and city reception, a formal dress with cowboy boots underneath, an outdoor garden wedding with a traditional Chinese banquet dinner reception
• Family and friends – could there be a more wonderful wedding theme? Brides are turning the focus from themselves to their guests and making their weddings fun reunions that will entertain, delight and pamper their family and friends. They’re planning activities to engage guests, giving beautiful gifts and treating everyone to spectacular food and drink.
Enjoy the theme inspiration!

And you get to choose the colors for many of the designs for a completely custom look! Check out some of our favorite kaleidoscope pattern invitations and start seeing how beautifully you can share your special news!
Ombre Filigree Invitation – shaded colors and a kaleidoscope look of filigree are so beautiful.
Kaleidoscope Floral Pocket Invitation – Stylized flowers border this invitation in your choice of colors. Put it in a pocket for an added touch of style!
Kaleidoscope Snowflakes Holiday Invitation – A crowd of snowflakes invites guests in modern style on this holiday invitation!
Natural Bloom Save the Date – The front is a-swirl with leaves, but the back is a kaleidoscope of flowers. What a great modern take on the natural look!

Need to start planning your special day? Take the first step to staying organized with style.
What’s the classy bride’s way of leaving her information with important wedding contacts? Certainly not a phone number scribbled on a scrap of paper or writing her name and address over and over on forms and contracts.
Oh no, today’s time savvy and sophisticated bride hands out her own personalized bridal calling cards to all her vendors — and she’s sure to be remembered for her style! No more feeling flustered because she can’t find a pen or worry that the vendor might misread the phone number.
What exactly is a bridal calling card? Below are three beautiful examples of wedding calling cards that can coordinate with your wedding colors and theme.
The cards are printed with the brides names, wedding date and contact information to make it easy for the florist, caterer, musicians, dress salon and other vendors to keep in contact.
We know that brides often wish they were more organized and had a larger budget for their special day. That is why we are now offering calling cards for just $5.00 – beneficial and affordable!
When you order the bridal calling cards, you’ll receive:
• 35 colorful cards personalized with your information
• A coordinating Jean M pocket for holding the cards
Your cards will be delivered to you in a matching Jean M ooh la color envelope.
Be sure to order additional bridal calling cards to include in your correspondence with friends and family members. Also slip them into your thank you notes after the wedding to encourage everyone to keep in touch!
Enjoy!
